Tom Davis

Tom is the director of the Lander clinic and brings a broad skillset to the team. Tom is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS). The OCS certification focuses on evidence-based practice, orthopedic injury examination, treatment, and medical interventions. He is also a Sports Certified Specialist (SCS). The SCS designation is the highest qualification that a physical therapist can attain in the practice of Sports Physical Therapy and gives formal recognition for his advanced clinical knowledge, experience, and skills in this area. Tom is the only PT in Wyoming to have both an OCS and SCS.

Tom has a passion for sports medicine, as he has spent countless hours helping student-athletes in basketball and baseball recover from various sports-related injuries. Tom participated in a Sportsmetrics course which is a scientifically proven ACL prevention program for high school athletes. He also achieved his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. As a CSCS, he applies scientific knowledge to train athletes for the primary goal of improving athletic performance. In addition, Tom helps runners shave off time in their races through Running Analysis sessions. He is level 1 and 2 certified in running gait analysis from RunDNA. 

Tom is certified in Dry Needling. He has advanced training in vestibular rehabilitation to diagnose and treat vestibular disorders and can fabricate custom orthotics. 

Tom received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Temple University and earned his Master of Physical Therapy from California State University, Northridge.  His undergraduate degree in Exercise Science is from his home state at the University of Montana. 

When Tom is not working in the clinic, he enjoys spending his free time in the outdoors, running, biking, golfing, snowboarding and spending time with his wife and twin boys.

Mitch Johnson

Mitch has been with Fremont Therapy Group since May 2007 and sees patients in the Lander and Riverton clinics.  He has more than a decade of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy and has a special interest in working with patients whose upper extremities have been affected by an accident, trauma, or disease. In 2011, Mitch earned his Certified Hand Therapy certification by the nationally recognized Hand Therapy Certification Commission.  As a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), he specializes in the treatment of the upper extremities and has achieved the highest level of competency in the profession. Through continual education and training, Mitch remains knowledgeable about preventive care, current surgical techniques, post-surgery therapy programs, the fabrication of custom splints, and dry needling. 

Mitch holds a Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Utah and his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University.

Mitch married Lander native, Jillyn Johnstone in 2005. They live in Lander with their three beautiful daughters. They love exploring Sinks Canyon, serving the community through their church and running a backyard farm with their well-behaved chickens.

Kim Asbell

Kim grew up in Lander and feels fortunate to be treating community members of her hometown. She had worked extensively in school-based settings with clients aged 5 to 21, focusing on meeting gross motor milestones in the areas of strength, balance, and coordination, as well as sensory processing issues. Kim also treats in the outpatient setting and enjoys working with patients across a wide age range. She has recently started helping patients with pelvic health issues such as incontinence, pelvic pain, post-natal issues, diastasis recti, and pelvic organ prolapse. And she has advanced training in dry needling. She is passionate about raising awareness about this sensitive topic. Kim is also a certified aquatic specialist and is especially interested in the benefits aquatic therapy offers her patients. 

Kim earned her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Utah. Prior to PT school, Kim studied at the University of Wyoming, completing a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Food Management.

Off duty, Kim takes advantage of Wyoming’s abundant outdoor adventures at her family cabin with her husband, three children, and now two granddaughters!   In addition, Kim spends time with her extended family in the area, researches healthy recipes, has fun hiking, raises chickens, and is involved with church activities.

Aileen Brew

Aileen began working as a physical therapist in 2002.  She is a board-certified clinical specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy with work experience in a variety of healthcare settings, including outpatient, hospital and skilled nursing facilities. Aileen believes physical therapy involves a person in their progression towards better health and function in a unique and critical way. She loves working to help restore mobility and improve the quality of life for people who are challenged as they move through their daily lives. 

Aileen earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in 2002.  Aileen has also earned the designation of Clinical Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy (GCS) from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and she is one of only 3 physical therapists in Wyoming with this certification. Becoming a board-certified clinical specialist in geriatric physical therapy helps Aileen and her colleagues understand how critical it is to identify and address the various functional challenges geriatric patients face alongside their main medical diagnosis.

Aileen originally came to Lander in 1991 to work for NOLS. She planned to stay for one year but fell in love with Wyoming, and here she is, 30+ years later!  She and her husband Gary returned to Lander in 2002 to raise their family. They have one daughter in college and one daughter at Lander Valley High School. Aileen loves spending time outside of work enjoying the outdoors on skis, bikes, and on foot. 

Robby Lee

Robby Lee brings a rich and diverse background of treatment to our team. As a PT, he has invested time into understanding how to inspire patients to reach their goals using evidence based practices. Robby is also passionate about educating patients the power of exercise in the recovery process. Robby utilizes physical therapy and exercise expertise to treat patients with all types of injuries and mobility issues. 

Robby studied exercise science at Southern Utah University and earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Utah. With his experience working with athletes, in particular endurance athletes such as runners, he learned early on that he loves working with people and has a passion for exercise.  Robby feels fortunate to have found a career that allows him to utilize his passion for exercise to help people reach their goals. 

Robby thrives in the outdoors. He ran cross country and track all through high school and in college. He also has recently joined the world of marathon running and loves playing basketball.  Robby, his wife, and dog Rudy spend their free time camping and hiking. 

Daniel Smith

Daniel brings enthusiasm and diverse experience to his role as physical therapist. He believes in using a patient centered, educational approach to help promote wellness and recovery in patients. Daniel has expanded his education in the areas of concussion/post concussion syndrome, vestibular, cardiopulmonary rehab and pain management. Daniel takes pride in building relationships with patients to help them understand the underlying causes of their pain or limitations and developing treatments that lead to recovery. His goal is to serve as a reliable resource for patients beyond treatment in the clinic and continually provide information to help them get the most fulfillment out of life. 

Daniel began his college career by earning his B.S.B in Economics from DePaul University in Chicago. From there he focused on the goal of physical therapy as a career, ultimately earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University. 

By way of Seattle, Boise, and Flagstaff, Daniel is thrilled to be in Wyoming where he can continue to explore the mountain west landscape. When he is not helping patients, you will find Daniel rock climbing, backpacking, and shooting photography. 

Susanna Motley

Susie utilizes her diverse background to treat all types of cases using patient centered care techniques that are backed by research. She has experience and interest in neurological cases, manual therapy, and geriatric PT. Susie loves the concept that physical therapists treat the whole person and use exercise and movement as medicine. 

Working in a PT clinic for 2 years as a physical therapy tech, inspired Susie to pursue physical therapy as a career. Through this experience, she was able to see first hand how much of a difference PT can make in peoples’ lives. Susie graduated from Lynchburg College in Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences, and after gaining experience in the PT field, earned her doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Lynchburg. Susie remains passionate about education and plans to continue to broaden her skillset to offer patients the best care possible. 

A native of Virginia, Susie and her husband have embraced the Wyoming mountain landscape. Along with their rescue pup, they love to hike and find new adventures, along with spending time with family and friends, working out, and cooking. 

Todd Comstock

Industrial Medicine Specialist/Physician Liaison

Todd has more than twenty years of experience working with patients of all ages across a broad spectrum of clinical environments. He particularly enjoys orthopedics and has advanced training in orthopedic manual therapy. Todd is certified in Functional Capacity Evaluations (CFCE), so he is particularly attuned to helping patients re-enter the workforce following a variety of injuries. He is also a Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) and helps our surgical patients heal quickly and effectively. Todd is an Industrial Medicine Specialist and a Physician Liaison for Fremont Therapy Group. 

Todd works in each clinic as our industrial medicine specialist, using his vast experience in this area to collaborate with physicians, employers, and workers’ case managers to ensure that employers and injured workers get the resources and care they need to keep the workplace safe. He also assists employers with their health and safety programs to prevent injuries using ergonomic assessments, as well as pre-employment, and return to work physical demand testing. 

Todd earned his Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology from CU Boulder and his Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Central Wyoming College. 

Todd originally hails from Rapid City, South Dakota; now he, his wife, Kari, and their three children, Emma, Grace, and Ollie, reside in Lander. When he isn’t working, he can be found enjoying time with his family, fly-fishing, skiing, and hiking.

Chris Rasmussen

Chris Rasmussen,

In his role as a Physical Therapist Assistant, Chris works alongside our Physical Therapists to treat all types of orthopedic cases utilizing therapeutic exercise and manual therapies. With years of experience in the outpatient physical therapy setting, Chris feels great pride in helping patients recover from injuries or limitations to return to the activities they love doing. Chris holds certifications in Blood Flow Restriction and Kinesio Taping, with future goals to become Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and Titleist Performance Institute(TPI-golf performance) certified. His interest in movement analysis certifications makes Chris a knowledgeable resource for our active community. 

Chris earned his BS of Health and Human Performance from Montana State University-Billings. Afterwhich, he pursued his physical therapy passion by attending Laramie County Community College to earn his PTA license. 

Chris is a Lander native and outside of work enjoys fishing, hiking, traveling, and, of course, golf. 

Sherri Butler

Sherri is a physical therapist who serves the students of Fremont County School District 1, as well as patients in our Riverton clinic. Sherri loves spending one on one treatment time with her students and patients and works with them to reach goals that help make for a life filled with function and meaningful activity. Sherri thrives in making positive impacts on those around her. 

Sherri has a strong clinical background in pediatrics, and neurology.  She is a PATH certified instructor which provides patients guidance with therapeutic/adaptive horsemanship and also is a Hippotherapy Clinical Specialist (HPCS). 

In her free time, Sherri loves being outdoors, whether it be exploring the area, gardening, or working with her horses. She also stays busy being a mom to six children as well as tending to sheep, chickens, dogs, and cats!



Hannah King

Hannah King,
Physical Therapy Technician

In her role at Physical Therapy Technician, Hannah is a key team member for the entire clinic. She provides support to the therapists and patients, and helps keep the clinic in top running order. Hannah enjoys the opportunity to help patients have the most comfortable and productive physical therapy experience. 

Hannah has a rich background in healthcare, previously working in the ICU unit as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She thrives in the patient care setting and brings that compassion and skill to her role with FTG. 

A transplant from Indiana, Hannah fully embraces the Wyoming outdoors. In her free time, she finds happiness with camping, backpacking and hunting in the mountains. 



Kathy Prins

Kathy is the smiling face at the front desk in our Lander clinic. As the Patient Care Coordinator, Kathy ensures our patients are well taken care of from their first appointment, and throughout their entire course of treatment. She guides patients through all the necessary intake forms and provides guidance with insurance and billing questions. A true team player, Kathy feels pride in making each patient’s experience positive and her FTG co-workers’ jobs easier.

Kathy attended Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI  and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, after which she completed a one year internship to earn her degree in Medical Technology. Kathy worked as a Medical Technician in a hospital laboratory for several years in the midwest.  Upon moving to Wyoming, Kathy gained experience as an appointment coordinator in orthodontics and as a customer accounts manager in insurance.

Kathy and her husband have two grown children and a silver lab puppy. They enjoy spending their free time putting the finishing touches on their log cabin home, fixing up their vintage camper, and gardening.

Melissa Nebeker

Melissa Nebeker,
Physical Therapy Technician

As a physical therapy technician, Melissa strives to help patients have the best experience at physical therapy. She takes pride in giving her full attention to patients and helping them understand the process of progressing through treatment, while supporting the clinicians with patient care. Melissa has an innate love for helping people and encouraging them on their path to physical wellness.

Melissa earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management with a Minor in Dance from BYU-Idaho. After 11+ years as a Business Systems & Project Analyst, she plans to pursue a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Melissa has spent the past 15+ years participating in single and multi discipline sporting events with a love of triathlons, and the field of PT is the perfect fit for her passion of helping others lead physically active lifestyles. 

Originally from Lander, Melissa spends her free time swimming, playing the piano, and getting outdoors as much as possible. She also loves to travel and throws in a triathlon every now and then!

Mandy Pierson

Mandy is part of our Physical Therapy Technician team who support physical therapists so they may provide the best one on one patient experience. Mandy takes great pride in helping people and loves being part of a team that puts patient recovery at the forefront. Mandy is also a key player with supporting maintenance of each clinic function.

Mandy has a rich background in the medical industry and customer service, working several years in optometry medicine. She truly enjoys the medical field and being a part of helping people through to recovery. She loves connecting with patients and working with her team to create a healing atmosphere. 

Mandy grew up on a cattle ranch in Cody. In her free time you will find Mandy and her husband traveling across the state supporting their children in athletics. When not traveling they enjoy spending time playing cards, board games, or camping.

Bree Martinsen

Bree has worked in a variety of settings including home health care, long-term care facilities, and orthopedic outpatient clinical settings. Bree often works in the clinic; however, her focus is in pediatric therapy in the school-based setting with children from kindergarten to Grade 12. She has had specialized training in treating sensory integration/processing disorders, working with autistic children, and with children with cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries, Down’s Syndrome and a variety of other genetic disorders.

Bree graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Central Wyoming College in May of 1998 and joined Fremont Physical Therapy that fall. 

Born and raised in Lander, she has been married for almost 20 years and has two sons. She enjoys spending time in the mountains and desert camping and four-wheeling with friends and family, gardening, and watching her children playing sports.

Kelsey Berg

Kelsey Berg,

Kelsey enjoys treating patients of all ages. Her current passion is working with K-12 students who have attention difficulties, sensory processing difficulties, visual perceptual, and fine motor difficulties. Prior to moving to Lander, Kelsey worked in the acute care hospital setting for 6 years in Casper. In the hospital setting, she treated conditions ranging from post-operative, to trauma, to neurological. She then changed gears and worked with students for 4 years in the Casper school district.

Kelsey is a Lander native and is happy to be back in the area. She graduated from the University of North Dakota at Casper College with a Master of Occupational Therapy degree. 

When Kelsey’s not in the school system helping children, she spends her time with her husband, 2 young daughters and son on their ranch. She loves riding horses, spending time in the outdoors, playing volleyball, and spending time with family. She is thrilled to be back in the Lander area where much of her family lives.

Lisa Rhyne

Lisa is seasoned occupational therapist who provides care to children in our school district. She loves the variety of her field and takes pride in making a positive impact on each individual she guides through therapy.

Lisa treats each of her patients one on one and works with them to reach goals that make help make for a  life filled with function and meaningful activity. Lisa earned her Occupational Therapy degree from Colorado State University. Throughout her OT career, Lisa has treated a variety of patients from early intervention pediatrics, orthopedics, to in-patient hospital rehabilitation.

A Brush, Colorado native, Lisa now embraces farming and ranching in Wyoming. Outside of OT, she spends time with her family, loves to read, but mostly enjoys daily adventures with her two adventurous boys.  

Dawn Rogers

Dawn Rogers,

Dawn is an occupational therapist with decades of experience working in a variety of settings with children, adults and older adults.  Dawn entered the OT field knowing that she wanted to primarily focus her care on children, even though there were times her focus shifted. Many times working with children as an earlier intervention, changes the entire outcome as they grow and become young adults. She enjoys working with pediatric patients and students from preterm newborns through 21 years of age.  Intermittent opportunities have offered Dawn the opportunity to work with all ages, in a variety of settings. Dawn is an important member of our team of school therapists, where she both shares and loves to learn new techniques from fellow clinicians that can further help her and the school kids continue to develop and evolve.

Dawn is a Lander native and is happy to call this amazing small town home once again. She earned her occupational therapy degree from University of North Dakota, through the Casper, Wyoming site. 

When not working with her school kids, Dawn enjoys spending time outdoors with her family who love to: hike, camp, hunt, and explore all outdoor opportunities, both within and beyond Wyoming.  She also enjoys being creative - whether it be crafts or tasty concoctions while cooking.
