Tom brings a broad and unique physical therapy skillset to Fremont County residents. He has earned national certifications in both Orthopedics and Sports and is the only physical therapist in the state of Wyoming to hold both of these rigorous certifications. As an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS), Tom has advanced training with orthopedic injury examination, treatment, and medical interventions. The Sports Certified Specialist (SCS) designation is formal recognition of his advanced clinical knowledge and treatment skills in the area of sports physical therapy. Both of these certifications allow Tom and his PT colleagues to utilize a wealth of evidence based practices to help patients recover.
Tom has a particular interest in sports medicine, as he has spent countless hours helping student-athletes in basketball and baseball recover from various sports-related injuries. Tom has formal training with the Sportsmetrics, which is a scientifically proven ACL prevention program for high school athletes. He has also earned his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification. As a CSCS, he applies scientific knowledge to train athletes for the primary goal of improving athletic performance.

With a positive attitude, and the right guidance, our patients overcome a lot of physical and emotional challenges to enjoy their life to the fullest.”
Tom also holds advanced training in vestibular rehabilitation to differentially diagnose and treat vestibular disorders, he conducts Running Analysis sessions to help runners perfect their gait and is trained to fabricate custom orthotics.
Tom earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Temple University and a Master of Physical Therapy from California State University, Northridge. His undergraduate degree in Exercise Science is from his home state at the University of Montana.
Tom enjoys spending free time in the outdoors, running, biking, golfing, snowboarding and going on adventures with his wife and twin boys.
